Savills has further strengthened its specialist Rating team with the appointment of Keith Mills as an Associate Director. Based in the firm’s Southampton office, Keith will work closely with the London team with a focus on providing expert business rates advice to clients in the retail, hospitality and leisure property sectors, including public houses, restaurants, hotels, automotive and events venues.
Keith brings over 26 years of experience in business rates valuation and advice, having spent the majority of his career at the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) where he held senior management positions in the South-West region, and played a pivotal role in the delivery of the 2017 rating list. Notably, he led the preparation of valuations for public houses and petrol filling stations, and was instrumental in developing the VOA's Rating Manual for the restaurant class.
